Improvements, or the lack of them, will affect the sale of your home. New paint in a neutral color enhances the overall appearance. Changing out dated light fixtures, carpeting, kitchen and bathroom hardware all have a huge impact on potential buyers. TurnAround Interiors is here to help you solve those problems.

As with everything even remotely design related, tastes and styles change. What was in five years ago may look dated today. Fortunately big box hardware stores do a good job of stocking lighting, hardware and flooring. Replacing these items can make a world of difference to a potential buyer. The goal is to turn your property/ listing into the most marketable real estate in your neighborhood.

They are the ultimate stagers — great to work with... professional, warm and friendly and I highly recommend them.

COLOR CONSULTATION:

When selling your house, paint is one of the most important and least expensive ways to update and enhance the look and feel of a room (or the entire house). Neutral colors help make rooms seem larger and ceilings higher, it also helps potential buyers envision themselves living there. Choosing the right color, depending on natural and indoor lighting as well as hues next to them, can be overwhelming. TurnAround Interiors is here to help you select the right color to create the desired environment and coordinate a specific look to finish off a room.

LIGHTING:

BETTER LIGHTING THAT’S BETTER LOOKING IS JUST PLAIN BETTER! In addition to painting, lighting is a key element that should not be overlooked when preparing a home for sale. If not updated, it will convey the age and condition of a home. The right light will not only enhance a home’s features, but make it feel larger, more modern, and ultimately more inviting to potential buyers. This goes for the exterior as well.

Another benefit of upgrading light fixtures is that technology has come a long way just in the past few years. Low energy lighting, like LED, offers a long lasting, low energy option. If you plan to keep a fixture make sure you not only use the correct wattage, even better replace it with a high wattage LED. For example, it the fixtures states a 100 watt incandescent replace it with a 28 watt LED. Not only will it be brighter but it saves energy (typically warm white rather than cool if preferable). When it comes to lighting there is no shortage of options out there. And that my friend can be overwhelming at best. No to worry, we are here to help!.

HARDWARE:

You’ll be amazed by how such a small detail like replacing outdated drawer pulls and cabinet knobs in kitchen, bathroom and other areas of the house, can change the look and feel from outdated to updated.

FLOORING:

When selling a home, one of the features many buyers focus their attention on will be the flooring. In fact flooring can make or break the sale of a home. And, when the house is vacant (i.e. no furniture), the flooring becomes even more important as it is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. Flooring in a home is a major component that buyers will certainly notice. If the flooring choices in a home are well done and in great shape a buyer will certainly pay more for that. A home’s value can also be downgraded quite a bit if the flooring sticks out like a sore thumb. TurnAround Interiors can help you with the different types of flooring selections that are out there, including carpeting and tile.
